It was a joy and privilege to support Valerie Boyd and Alice Walker through anchoring the Healing the Soul We Love Book Tour for the edited volume of Alice’s journals: Gathering Blossoms Under Fire. In addition to co-managing the virtual and in-person book tour, I managed Alice Walker’s social media, marketing materials for Simon & Schuster , and partners throughout the tour. I am especially proud of fostering partnerships with book reviewers such as Homegirl HQ and Prisca Dorcas of Latina Rebels.
